The Sarah Spencer will be at Burlington Northern today loading taconite. The Sarah Spencer barge (formerly the hull of the laker Adam Cornelius) has a notch at one end into which the tug Jane Ann IV fits. The combination is officially designated as an articulated tug barge or ATB, for short. Above, the tug is moving into the notch on the barge after returning from loading fuel.
