Pomorze Zachodnie crew

Robert Dratwa, ordinary seaman, Krzysztof Lamparski, able bodied seaman, Edward Szuscicki, deck fitter, Romuald Loska, chief engineer and Waldermar Wisniewski, motorman, all members of the crew of the Pomorze Zachodnie, greeted Duluthians and visitors as the ship went under the Lift Bridge on Wednesday. They were there again last night (above) waving good bye as the ship departed.

Pomorze Zachodnie

The Pomorze Zachodnie is a bulk carrier, built in 1985 as the Ziemia Tarnowska. There is another ship called the Ziemia Tarnowska that visits the Twin Ports frequently. It was launched as the Pomorze Zachodnie. Both ships are 591.04 feet long, were built in 1985 and sail under a Polish flag.
