The Agawa Canyon will be here today to load taconite for Quebec City at the CN dock in West Duluth. This is the first visit for this Canadian flagged laker since it was here in December, 2001 to discharge a cargo of salt. Other traffic today will be loading taconite and coal. The Vlistborg came in last night to load beet pulp pellets brought down here by train from North Dakota. The Algosteel will be bringing salt into port and then going up to Two Harbors to load taconite for Quebec City. Photo taken on December 14, 2001. [Agawa Canyon was scrapped in 2010.]
