Tall Ships in 2009
The tall ship Denis Sullivan visited Duluth on 2009, 2010, 2013 and she will be back again in 2016.  Launched in 2000, the S/V Denis Sullivan is a 137-foot re-creation of a three-masted, 19th century Great Lakes schooner. She is owned and operated by Pier Wisconsin as an educational platform and scientific research vessel. Based in Milwaukee, she sails each year to ports-of-call throughout the Great Lakes, the Atlantic Ocean and the tropical waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Above, she is in the Duluth harbor during her visit in 2013; below she is arriving in 2010, and below that she has just come under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge in 2009.
