The Olympic Miracle (above, foreground) arrived Duluth on Friday, October 1, 2010 as her sister ship Olympic Melody (left) was leaving.
Before arriving in the Twin Ports, the Olympic Miracle discharged steel beams in Montreal that they loaded in Bilbao, a major port city of northern Spain. Before Spain, they discharged barley in  Benghazi, Libya.  Above and below, they are loading wheat for Italy.
Above, I am in the pilot house and below, stepped outside to talk with Captain Stilianos Mamouzelos. They were planning to depart Duluth later in the evening on October 4, 2010. Of course going under the Lift Bridge puts him front and center on the Duluth Shipping News web cam. He told me he would send an email to his wife Afrodite at home on the Greek island of Limnos in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. When I got back to my office, I had an email from Afrodite thanking me for the web cam.
