This evening at about 6 p.m., the Vista Star will return to its home port of Duluth behind the DECC after wintering in the Washburn, Wisconsin, marina to be dry docked for its 5-Year Annual Hull inspection by the U.S. Coast Guard. Today’s voyage is the Vista Star’s first under its new ownership, Vista Cruises Inc., the corporation of Justin & Sarah Steinbach. Vista Cruises should begin May 3, a day of discounted tickets for local residents. The gift shop in the lower part of the DECC opens May 1.
