Taagborg arrives Duluth – first trip to Twin Ports

The Dutch flagged Taagborg arrived Duluth around 10:30 Sunday morning on August 14, 2016. Built in 2013, this is her first trip here. After coming under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge, she turned up the Duluth harbor (above) on her way over to HS2 in Superior to load grain.

  1. Taagborg is scheduled to leave tonight between 930 and 1130.

Will she still be at Port for the Tall Ships Festival? Have any of the ships arrived in Duluth already? Is there a website to watch their progress?

    • dari,
loading grain can sometimes be very time consuming. hard to tell if the taagborg will still be in port for the festival, but there will no doubt be other cargo boats. i have been watching the AIS map (marinetraffic.com) and see the Pride of Baltimore, Mist of Avalon, and Brig Niagara in Lake Superior. so far, none of the other tall ships are showing up. perhaps another AIS site would pick them up. hope that helps you out.
