Clarke leaves Duluth for Two Harbors

The Philip R Clarke departed Duluth on Friday morning, December 6, 2013 after discharging limestone at the Hallett Dock that she loaded in Calcite, Michigan. She went up to Two Harbors to load iron ore pellets for the lower lakes.

  1. My Grandfather Ivar Pust was the Captain of the Phillip R. Clarke when it was the flagship of the Pittsburgh Steamship Company. I ate several meals aboard when I would come home on leave from the Navy in the early 60’s. Good memories.
