The Buffalo, in and out in a day

April 30, 2012 · 2 comments

The Buffalo arrived in Duluth this morning (April 30, 2012) with a cargo of limestone she loaded in Calcite, Michigan around April 28th. After discharging that, she departed the Twin Ports light (above) for Silver Bay to load iron ore pellets for the Cleveland Bulk Terminal at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River.

Better watch out for the anarchists who want to blow up the bridge in Cleveland. A terrifying business at times.

That’s a nice boat and it’s always fun to see her in Duluth!
