Thanks for the video. I sailed for Interlake as a deckhand in the early 70′s. Loved hearing the company salute, one long, three shorts. Gave me goose bumps! Used to love coming north to Duluth / Superior. Duluth in the fall was beautiful. The Keewana even more so!

Again, love to watch the video of the ships arriving and leaving. Curiosity question: I heard the two ships exchanging whistle’s on passing each other, however, I did not hear the ship and lift bridge exchange salutes. Is this just done when there are people watching at Canal Park?

Hi Ken,
Thanks for the video! A fantastic “Good Morning” when I signed on this morning. To start my day like this is great! Also like your comments on the ice conditions. I heard the whistles-another plus! I always listen when you have the sound on. Also the bridge bells. As close to being there as I can get for now. Thanks again. Keep warm!
