The American Mariner arrived in the Duluth harbor around 10:30 am on Thursday, April 1st; no fooling. I also caught her on my new web cam which you can check out at dsn-tv. I am in test mode here and happy to hear your comments. At the moment, I have a camera in my office running sometimes all day and night. If I am in, I follow the boat with my camera which has a nice zoom lens also. I am only a one person operation, so it won’t be up all the time (last night, Microsoft thought it would be good to update my computer and they rebooted it and dropped my nice night time view of the bridge). I will also have a remote hook up sometime soon. The American Century is due to depart early this afternoon and you should be able to watch her depart on dsn-tv.

We absolutely LOVE your webcam! We have about 5 or 6 saved in the favorites, and yours is by far the best. Keep up the great work!
Great work Ken. Since I work in the transportation field [MnDOT], I am interested in where the goods are going and coming from on roads and rails in conjunction with the ship work. You always mention what docks these ships are going to and I’ve been trying to find a harbor map online that shows and names all the docks. Any ideas? Thanks for all the effort.
Ken,
You are on the cutting edge man! Seriously, terrific job. Great still on the American Mariner above. Traffic is starting to pick up in the port and that’s good news for all us Lake boat disciples out here!
Ken:
I watched the dsn-tv video. You are a magician. It was Greaaaat.
I had trouble loging in on the website to leave a comment there, will try again.
Also on the Indiana Harbor arrival. It would get to the Aft superstructure, and then go back to the beginning. I tried it several times, same result.
Still, the work you do with this site is awesome. I look forward to it every day.

Ken, you’ve outdone yourself! The videos are great and your comments add so much. The only thing that could possibly be better would be to be there in person, but then it’s still so cold up there and I’d have to find a coat somewhere! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us.
