BBC Italy becomes the last saltwater ship of the season

December 16, 2009 · 2 comments

bbcitaly20091214_0322With cold weather and ice in the Seaway, and after many delays, the BBC Spain, originally headed for the Twin Ports, will divert to Texas to discharge her wind turbine equipment. When the BBC Italy departs Duluth, perhaps on Friday, she will be the last saltwater ship of the season. She arrived here on Sunday to discharge wind turbine parts. Above, the discharge continued into Monday. She is now loading grain at Harvest States.

I'm confused… You stated that the BBC Italy was off loading wind turbine equipment in the Twin City's. and the said she was being diverted to Texas to deliver the same thing with another cargo on board….?????

I wonder if the BBC Spain will be coming to Galveston Island, Texas as we have many salties off-loading heavy equipment here.
If not here, then I would assume to the port of Houston.
