Algorail departing Twin Ports

The Algorail will be loading taconite at the BN dock in Superior today. It has not been here since it departed Duluth in July, 2001 (above). The bright red Federal Yoshino has been at anchor off the Duluth piers for a couple days and should have come in to load wheat for Spain by now. Two boats bringing cement will be in port today. The Alpena has been here discharging cement and may depart later in the day; the Quebecois is expected with more cement this evening. The BBC Mississippi has been in port through the weekend and will start loading grain this morning. It may be departing this evening.
