Canadian Leader

The Canadian Leader was built in 1967 at Collingwood, Ontario as the Feux Follets (Will of the Wisp) and renamed the Canadian Leader in 1972. The 10,000-hp steam turbine engine that still powers the boat was the last steam-powered engine put on a Great Lakes freighter. Photo taken September 24, 2002.
