Middletown has history

The Middletown was built in 1942. It saw duty in both the Atlantic and the Pacific during World War II as a tanker. It was hit by a Japanese bomb in 1944. Since then, it has been renamed several times, rebuilt and lengthened. It is here to discharge a cargo of limestone.
